Today I have more party photographs to share! These photos were taken at Jackson’s 5th birthday party! His mom, Courtney, throws amazing parties so I am always excited when she contacts me for printables! Check out the amazing Mickey Mouse party and the baby shower that she organized!
When she contacted me about doing a superhero birthday party for her son’s 5th birthday, I knew that I wanted to do something special for the invite. I have a party collection that includes an invite but wanted something more unique. Immediately, I thought it’d be neat to have a square invite that opens up. Take a look at this:
And yes, isn’t Jackson so handsome in his Superman outfit?
As I said, Courtney’s parties always have unique, fun elements that totally inspire me. For example, I love how she filled a red drink container with comic books and she stuck the emblem that I include with the Superhero birthday banner on the front. She also used Superman comic books as a backdrop for a photo staging area. Love it!
I love that Courtney did blue and red icing on the cupcakes and punched the cupcake toppers in to circles as well as scalloped circles. Of course, the red and blue icing match the red and the blue photo frames on either side of the cupcake stand on the dessert table. And the “J” emblem cookies are a fabulous touch! Notice the cool superman lunch boxes in the background. These doubled as decoration for the party and made wonderful keepsakes for all the children that attended the party. She also used these tin lunch boxes to serve the children their lunches! She attached a hang tag to each lunchbox and wrote the child’s name.
As I mentioned earlier, I really wanted to do something special for Courtney so I also designed sandwich trays that she could print out and put together at home. These are not for sale in my Etsy store but if you want these for your Superhero’s party, then please contact me for a reserve listing.
As you know, I love welcome door signs for birthday parties. Check out this one- perfect for a superhero party! And the goody bags look great- again, a combination of red and blue. Courtney attached the favor tags on the handles and the starburst tags on the bags.
Happy 5th Birthday Jackson! Looks like your party was SUPER fun! And good job Courtney on an amazingly detailed birthday party. Thank you so much for sharing your photos.
